Hotel Dusk: Room 215 game review. A good game that could have been better resolved if the characters left the hotel. So this week I finished Mirror's Edge and Prince of Persia both on the 360. Mirror's Edge was one of the more frustrating games I've played. The controls could be improved, the combat mechanics are bad, and the flow of the game could be greatly improved by highlighting the path through the environment. Prince of Persia on the other hand was wonderful apart from the combat. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed not being punished for missing a jump and always knowing where to go after playing Mirrors Edge. I think I'm even going to buy the DLC. Anime wise I've been making my way through Vandread which will be next week's review.
A new feature I made for the site is recommendation searching. Enter a genre and/or a minimum rating and click the button to find things matching that criteria. A good way of finding new games or anime. It's not that useful at the moment but if I keep this up I'll eventually have a huge database of titles. It's available for both games and anime.
