Gaming Lookout December 2010.

There aren't many games coming out this month that are worth mentioning: Tron Evolution, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and a Wii version of Super Mario All Stars. With WoW's expansion being the only game of any real significance.

November... OMG it's nearly Christmas! Which means one of the year's biggest games is also here - Call of Duty: Black Ops, accompanied by God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. This month has some big games: Halo Reach, Civilization V, Final Fantasy XIV, Hawx 2, Dead Rising 2. Other notable releases include: Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Bioshock 3.

Irrational Games and 2K Games have announced Bioshock Infinite, another title in the Bioshock franchise. The game is set during 1912 in a new city, Columbia, which floats among the clouds. Planned for release in 2012, Bioshock Infinite will be available on XBox 360, PS3 and PC....

Activision Rakes in the Cash.

Activison Blizzard Inc generated $967 million USD in revenue during the second quarter of 2010. This quarter was significant because for the first time online sale exceeded retail sales. Batman 2 Named.

Today the sequel to the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum received a name of it's own; Batman: Arkham City. Expected to arrive during Autumn 2011, the game will be available on PC, XBox 360 and PS3....

Crysis 2 Bumped to 2011.

In news via Gamespy, Crysis 2 has been pushed back until sometime next year. Sourced from EA's quarterly financial report, the information shows EA was skeptical of topping either Halo: Reach or Call of Duty: Black Ops, both titles due this holiday season. However the company still believes it can make in-roads into the FPS market with it's people and brands and gain market share.
